The Neighborhood

The village of Vlachata is a twelve minute drive from the airport There is a choice of beaches accessible from the village, all of which are sandy.
The local bus runs daily from the capital Argostoli which is about twenty minutes’ drive away. The famous long sandy beaches of Makris Yialos and Platis Yialos are within fifteen minutes’ drive to the resort of Lassi where you will find more tavernas, shops and some nightlife in the bars.
